Dear Sam and family.
My deepest condolences to you at this sad time! Colleen was great support for me as she looked after Charles, Kim, and toddler Tammy while I was teaching at E.C.Drury. That was over 50 years ago but I was so grateful . I lost track of you when you moved from Laurier but remember our work for the Cancer Society. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family .
Sincerest sympathy..

Colleen was my sister-in law but treated me like a sister. I will remember her always dressed with everything matching even her jewellery!! We had so much fun going gambling (much to Sam's shagrin) and going out after for banana splits at her favourite restaurant. I will surely miss her.

Auntie Lynne she loved and talk often about how much she enjoyed her time with you at the Casino. She was always hoping for that Jack Pot. I know she will be watching and playing right beside you for a long time.

I have so many great memories of my Auntie Colleen. When I think of her, I see her radiant smile, hear her laugh and feel her warm hugs. She was always the life of the party. Heaven is going to be an even happier place now that Colleen has arrived. Love always. Wendy xo.

It’s been many years since I crossed paths with the Hokansson family. They lived across the street from us for several years on Elmwood Crescent, where we played hours of street hockey and football on the road in front of their home. I have a special and fond memory of Colleen (Mrs Hokansson) which I hope brings a smile to your faces and/or warmth to your hearts. Colleen made the best fudge. She took me under her wing to teach me her secrets to making it when I was 11 or 12. Colleen was a good teacher as I won third prize for my chocolate and first for my maple fudge in the Milton fall fair. I still have the entry cards with this recognition, along with Colleen’s hand written recipe splattered with baking remnants in an memory book put together by my folks. My condolences to Sam, Steve, Cheryl, Cecelia and your family’s. Rest In Peace Colleen. Tom Elliot.

Tommy I want you to know how touched I have been with this post. It is a beautiful tribute to my mom. So wonderful that she left you with such a treasured memory. Happy fudge eating. Ps Mine favourite was her maple fudge. Cheryl.
