Obituary

Kubusch, Dieter of Milton Ontario passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 76 Sunday morning March 10th 2019 at Milton District Hospital. Dieter leaves behind his wife of almost 54 years Christa Kubusch. He also leaves behind his children Sandy Kubusch Smith and Mike (Lynn) Kubusch. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Zachary, Ameera-Daya, Justin and Brendan. Dieter worked for many years as a Chef. He will be remembered as a kind man with a dry sense of humor, his Christmas dinners with the best turkey gravy you’ve ever had! His immaculate garden and garden gnomes, playing his guitar and accordion, the backyard shed he built in the 70’s where he would spend a lot of time listening to 50’s and 60’s music. Dieter’s final resting place will be in a Columbarium at Milton Evergreen Cemetery. There will be no funeral service at his request. If so desired donations may be made in Dieter’s name to Milton District Hospital.

We have so many great memories of dad. This picture is from Summer 2017 on our patio Macdonald Cres (many a party was had on this patio over the years). Mr. Helmut Hartmann on the left and our close friend Agnieszka's dad visiting from Poland Mr. Andrzej Nowakowski in the middle. Though Mr. Nowakowski doesn't speak english he does speak a wee bit of German so the three were able to communicate. They got along as if they had always been best friends. Once the vodka came out there was NO problem communicating! its amazing how having a few drinks you can all the sudden understand another language🤣🤣
Sadly Mr. Hartmann lost his battle with cancer last year, he was a wonderful sweet man💗
Love you dad xo

Dear Chris and Family; Sincere sympathy to you at this time. May the many great memories of Dieter bring you peace in the days ahead. I always enjoyed working with Dieter and also with you Chris, at what was known as the Manor and now known as Allendale. Blessings to you and your family. Love Ruth McKinnon
