John “Ken” Somerville, 72, of Montreal, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18th, 2019 at Milton District Hospital with the love of his boys and his wife Francine by his side. Ken was born on May 25, 1947 to William ‘Kenneth’ and Hilda (Atkins) Somerville.
Ken made everyone around him happy and liked having a good time. He loved Francine more than the world entire and was happiest when spending time with her. He is loved and missed by his children Mark (Kathleen), Shawn (Katia), and grandchildren Justin and Ava

Remember Me
Remember me with smiles not tears,
for all the joy through all the years.
Recall the closeness that was ours,
A love as “sweet” as fragrant flowers.
Don’t dwell on thoughts that cause you pain,
We’ll see each other once again.
I am at peace….try to believe,
It was my time….I had to leave.
But “what a view” I have from here,
I see your face, I feel you near.
I follow you throughout the day,
You’re not alone along the way.
And when God calls you…you will be,
Right by my side….right here with me.
Till then, I’ll wait by heaven’s door,
We’ll be united….evermore.

Dear Ken you are very special to me. You were a wonderful father-in-law and I have many great memories together with you, Francine, Mark and the kids. Road trips, scrabble and dominoes, you were a great Grandpapa. We will miss you and love you forever. ❤ Kathleen Somerville

Ken, thank you for all the hugs that you always sent me. Thank you for making so many trips to Vancouver, even when it was difficult for you. We have known each other for over a decade, and you have always been extremely kind hearted and loving toward me. I am happy to hear your passing was peaceful. To Francine, I know you are a strong and resilient woman. Sending lots of love to you at this challenging time. 💖 Katia Somerville
