Obituary

It is with heavy hearts to announce the sudden passing of Norma Ellen Marshall on March 31st, 2020, in her 79th year with her beloved husband by her side.
Norma will be dearly missed by her husband of 62 years, Robert, her three sons and their spouses, Robert (Nicky), Richard (Aline), Tim (Tracy), as well as her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her four sisters, Muriel (predeceased by William) Townshend, Patricia (Allan) Dowdall, Crystal (predeceased by Richard) Hambly and Marie (James) Steane. Norma will also be fondly remembered by all her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Norma proudly graduated from Beauty school in 1956, the same year she met Bob while working at J.K Smit & Sons. After raising her three boys, she went on to establish a career at KMart. Norma was passionate about music and took every opportunity to dance. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending quality time with her children, sisters and friends.
Unfortunately, due to the circumstances of COVID 19 we are currently unable to have a service. When the crisis has passed, arrangements will be shared for a celebration of her life at the McKersie Kocher Funeral Home in Milton, ON.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.

I was so saddened by the news of Norma’s passing . I remember all the fun times at the cottage and getting her to colour my hair. . A few years ago she was posting music on Facebook and I told her I liked a particular song. She remembered and play it for my at the family picnic. May you Rest In Peace dear Norma and I will think of you often. Love Steve and Sherry

We never met your Grams, Ashley, but I will always remember seeing her Facebook comments when you posted pictures of you and Fraser. She loved that the two of you were so happy. We are thinking of you all during this sad time. Tracy and Scott Berry
