Obituary for Patrick McMullan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick McMullan (wee Patty) on December 3, 2020 at Milton District Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Glasgow Scotland May 2, 1935. He is survived by his Beloved wife Ann of 58 years. Loving Father to John & Fely-Anne McMullan, Anne Marie McMullan-Dangov and Jacqueline & Steven Clark. His love for his Grandchildren will be sadly missed and remembered as a dedicated Grandfather/Papa of Alessandra, Connor, Jessica, Hannah, Ethan Josh, Liam, Fiona and Alexa. Grandpa to Carter Taylor. Dear brother of William & Isabel McMullan, Molly & John Lynch and Brian & Isabel McMullan. Carmel & Annemarie Hili. Predeceased by parents Mary & John McMullan, brother’s Jackie, Edward & Bridie McMullan and sister Betty & John Rafferty & John. Brother-in law John & Margaret Maule. His family, extended family, cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada, Scotland, United States and Ireland were a big part of his life and many fond memories of all the great times will live on. Patrick came to Canada in 1965 and met many great friends along his journey, he played in the Merry Macs Show Band and loved to play different instruments. He was a jack of all trades and worked at Mettler Toledo Scale up until he retired in 2000. His dedication and commitment to everything he did in life was noticed by anyone who met our dad. He had a passion for painting and building planes as well as a veteran of the Royal Corps of Signals British Army. A proud member of the Holy Rosary Church and the Knights of Columbus. The lights at the Celtic Club will be forever dimmed. Pat will be missed and his love and dedication to all who met him will continue to be a light in their lives. Service to be held Saturday, December 12th, 2020 at 9:00 am at Holy Rosary Church, 139 Martin Street, Milton, Ontario. Dad your personality, dedication to your friends and to those you have touched along the way will be remembered, your Spirit and energy will live on in everyone’s hearts. A special Thank you to Allendale Nursing Home and the wonderful staff at the day program.
